The Transfer Pre-Orientation Program is a day of activities designed to help newly admitted Appalachian transfer students find the answers to all of their questions and prepare for their upcoming Orientation session. A typical day involves sessions on financial aid, transfer of credit, advising and involvement in campus life. We also have a Q&A session with the transfer student mentors.
Participation in this program is completely free! As an incentive to attend, Admissions is willing to waive your enrollment "advanced payment" or deposit when you complete your acceptance agreement.
"TPOP was extremely beneficial in preparation for orientation. We knew what to expect going in and it made orientation easy."
-Anonymous (Transfer Orientation survey)
Note: Students attending T-POP will still be required to attend an Orientation session.

Please note: You must be admitted to the main Appalachian campus to be eligible for the program. If you have not been admitted to Appalachian yet, you should consider attending one of Appalachian's Transfer Track Sessions.
