Orientation

When will I get an academic advisor to help me with classes?

• All new students will meet one-on-one with an advisor at Orientation.  
• Prior to Orientation, you will complete our Early Registration Advising online course to help you navigate the curriculm and class registration on your own.  Students can email era@appstate.edu for registration support; our advisor on duty will respond to your email.  
• During Orientation, your advisor will help you complete your class schedule and make any necessary schedule changes.
